1967 Volkswagen Westfalia POP-TOP Camper
Excellent floor plan with front bench seat, rare factory Pop-Top, pop out front Safari windows with front & rear roof racks. Very nicely restored with everything addressed. California Westfalia with no rust and an excellent body, Finished in White with a Tiffany Blue accent and a grey interior, white wheels & white bumpers.
The 1600CC engine, signal carb, upgraded oil cooler with all of the engine steel metal powder-coated. Plenty of power & torque for the freeway. Very good shifting 4-speed transmission with no issues. Brakes have been rebuilt with new hoses, wheel cylinders, brake shoes, master cylinder, brake drums and the front brakes have been converted to disc brakes with excellent stopping power.
Electrical has been gone through with new wiring where needed. Everything works. The original gauges have been rebuilt. Upgrade with an auxiliary battery system - set up for the stereo & interior lighting for entertainment while camping.
Interior cabin has been fully insulated with Rattletrap Sound Deadener Noise Killer for a quieter ride and interior temperature comfort. All of the cushions have been reupholstered with all new curtains installed. All of the cabinets have been refaced with Baltic Birch. The interior is simply beautiful with new Baltic Birch side and roof panels, Bamboo flooring, original jalousie windows and open curtain rod design.
Beautifully restored with attention to quality and detail.
Ready to show, camp or be on the go!
